The Harnett County School system has twenty six different schools.  The schools include primary schools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and one alternative school.

  Primary Schools

There are four primary schools in the Harnett County School system.   The primary schools serve Kindergarten through second or third grade depending on the individual school.

  3. Harnett Primary
  4. North Harnett Primary
Elementary Schools

There are twelve elementary schools in the Harnett County School system.  The schools that are fed by primary schools serve second or third through fifth grades.  The remaining elementary schools serve kindergarten though fifth grade.

There are five middle schools in the Harnett County school system.  These schools serve students in the sixth through eighth grades.

  4. Overhills Middle
  5. Western Harnett Middle
High Schools

Harnett County has four High Schools serving students in ninth through twelfth grade.
